Many puppies can hear words that are repeated and associate them with what you need them to do. As an example, when your dog is outside relieving him or herself, say go potty. If you do this enough, the young dog will shortly associate the phrase 'go potty ' with relieving him or herself. This may train the little puppy to go potty on command. Word organisation is the simplest way to coach your dog. If your little dog goes to the lavatory in the house, you are able to say, "No, go outside," then take the little puppy outside.
