Dog Potty Training:Command Training
You may not believe it, but you can train puppies and older dogs to go to the toilet on command.
Many puppies can hear words that are repeated and associate them with what you need them to do. As an example, when your dog is outside relieving him or herself, say go potty. If you do this enough, the young dog will shortly associate the phrase 'go potty ' with relieving him or herself. This may train the little puppy to go potty on command. Word organisation is the simplest way to coach your dog. If your little dog goes to the lavatory in the house, you are able to say, "No, go outside," then take the little puppy outside. After a bit, the baby dog will use this word organisation with something that they shouldn't do inside but out of doors. There's never a desire to spank a dog when you're using command coaching. The little puppy will associate the word 'no ' with unpleasant behavior and will learn how to go outside instead of inside. The 1st thing that you have to do is take the little dog outside and tell it to go potty.
The baby dog must stay outside till she goes. You may continue to indoctrinate the dog to 'go potty ' till they eventually do.
Then you need to praise the little dog for a good job. After a bit, the little dog is going to learn that going potty outside makes you ecstatic. You need to select one particular spot for command coaching to alleviate themselves.
They'll associate this spot with going potty. The way that you praise your baby dog and treat them will have a positive affect on command potty coaching. If you use the phrase 'go potty ', be accurate and clear. Some puppies may hear the word as 'no ' if you're unclear. You might also select a different phrase like 'potty ' or 'do your job ' and make it sound less like 'no potty '. You can command train your baby dog for any word command and they'll finally learn it. The most important thing you have to do is be consistent. Don't use different phrases or words that should mean a similar thing, the dog doesn't understand this and will definitely become confused. When using any sort of command coaching, you need to use praise as well as little pup treats. This just helps bolster a good job and the dog will associate the command with what you need them to do so they can have a treat. A pup as well as an older dog wants to delight their owners.
You simply need a little patients and understanding to do this. Command housebreaking a puppy dog can be done inside or out of doors. If you prefer the young dog to piss outside, this can work best. If you like the dog to pee on paper or pup pads inside, you'll place the dog on the pad and teach her or him to potty. This needs to be done all of the time. Many times, after a young dog is totally toilet trained, you can stop the commands.
