  9. DaMonkey11 says:

ugh Not fan of using treats to train dogs.. Anyway

@people with young dogs a few months old its usually best to wait when they are at least a little older

  10. bolobeardog says:

how old is your dog because mine are 6 are they to old to learn?

  11. Thedirtyc0w says:

my dog is 12 is that to old

  12. rothaga2 says:

I already began training my dog. And i added the word the first time. Can I just restart?

  13. LexiBuddyAgility says:

@bolobeardog No? They're still young, go for it! (:

  14. LexiBuddyAgility says:

@DaMonkey11 No, you need to train you dog/puppy, as much as you can, as soon as you can, but they can learn at any age, just it'll be easier with a puppy.

  15. LexiBuddyAgility says:

@RosiePosie32 yes, the dog was trained before, do you clicker train? That'd help if you want a positive way to train the down with NO hand signal, just the word, in this video the dog isn't learning the command, shes basically luring her all the time, you want the down to be given w/out the hand signal, or a slight hand signal with no word. You shouldn't need to use both. (:

If you want some tips on teaching him down, pm me. :)

  16. SandiSadistic says:

    @Thedirtyc0w 12 weeks?

  17. DaMonkey11 says:

@LexiBuddyAgility By not training a few months old I mean 2months and younger and I don't mean the basics like potty training and etc but I would wait on doing stuff like sitting, heeling, laying. Thought I admit I could be mistaken since my father is the expert (Military dog trainer for over 28+ years) so I still go to him for tips. thought if I am my bad

  18. RosiePosie32 says:

I've been trying to yeah my puppy and no I don't use a clicker or hand signals he knows how to sit but he won't lie down because his tetmething now an just wants to bite every thing in sight
